On December 3, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the List of National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprises in 2020, Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd. (“TCT” for short) was awarded as "National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise” due to its scientific and technological innovation achievements and remarkable advantages in scientific research, and the science and technology innovation ability was recognized again.

It is understood that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ministry of Finance have carried out the affirmation of “National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise” for consecutive 10 years since 2011, with the aim for deeply implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and strengthening the dominant position of enterprise in technological innovation. Ministry of Industry and Information Technology conducted systematic evaluation on the innovation investment, talent motivation, innovation cooperation, construction of innovation team and conditions, technical accumulation and reserve and the technological innovation output and benefits of enterprises, and finally selected the enterprises with strong technological innovation ability, remarkable innovation achievements and important demonstration and guiding role. In this selection, 63 enterprises were included in the list, and only three enterprises came from Beijing. As one of the three enterprises, TCT proves its powerful strength in technological innovation again.

TCT always adheres to the principle of independent innovation, keeps up with the international development trends, takes CBTC with independent intellectual property as the core, provides urban rail transit with self-developed solutions such as the communication-based train control system (CBTC), full-automatic operation system (FAO), interconnectivity system (I-CBTC), urban rail cloud system and TIDS system, promotes Chinese urban rail transit signal system to realize automation technology and realizes the transformation from following, running to leading.

TCT has the only national engineering laboratory approved by NDRC in urban rail transit signal system field as well as many national and ministerial scientific research, development and industrialization innovation platforms. CBTC won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, FAO won the first prize of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award, and non-inductive transformation equipment won the special prize of Urban Rail Transit Science and Technology Progress Award. TCT undertook two national-level innovation demonstration projects: Beijing Subway Yanfang Line and Chongqing Interconnectivity Project.

The approval of “National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprises” represents a highly recognition to TCT’s performances and capacity that takes “Innovation” as the gene, “creating independently-innovative brands” as the mission and supplying safe, reliable and intelligent products.

In the future, TCT will continuously insist on the technical route of independent innovation, vigorously apply the new technical revolution achievements based on digitalization, intelligence and networking, deeply integrate with urban rail transit, further tackle with key and core technologies, enhance the independent technological innovation ability, create Chinese brand with independent intellectual property and market competition advantages and build China into a country with strong transportation network!
