In March 2019, TCT and Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway Development Co., Ltd. signed the Contract for Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway Moving Block Expansion Test and Engineering Application Research Project, wherein TCT will provide the moving block engineering transformation service for the existing signalling system and communication system of Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway.
Relying on the stable LTE wireless communication network and advanced communication-based train operation control technology, the system can improve the carrying capacity of Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway by 34% remarkably and reduce the tracking interval of trains to the same fixed block section. Besides, long heavy downgrade safety control model for heavy haul train and the key technologies such as high-precision high-reliability on-board autonomous positioning integrating with Beidou satellite navigation technology, the train integrity identification technology and the automatic driving of heavy haul train are proposed in this project.
Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway breaks through the existing fixed block driving mode, calculates the driving permission through an autonomous position of on-board equipment and ground RBC equipment, realizes safe tracking and operation through vehicle-ground wireless communication, greatly improves the carrying capacity, and solves the existing transportation problems such as the departure capacity in the throat area of junction station.
