New-Generation Intelligent Technology Dual Demonstration Project - Beijing Subway Line 11 and Line 19

(2) Project Overview

The project will break through two key technologies, namely virtual marshalling and intelligent train operation dispatching, and build two core platforms, namely the integrated intelligent train platform and the industrial Internet basic platform. Relying on the projects of Beijing Subway Line 11 and Line 19, it will complete the scenario demonstration, application and verification of key technologies and system prototypes. The project has been approved as a national development special project of the "Demonstration Project of the New Generation Intelligent Train Operation System and Platform for Smart Urban Rail" by the National Development and Reform Commission, and also as the "Demonstration Project of the New Generation Networked Intelligent Dispatching and Intelligent Train Operation and Control System" by the China Urban Rail Transit Association.

(3) Technical solutions and their advantages and characteristics

Lines 11 and 19 in Beijing: Demonstrate and apply the intelligent fully automatic operation system (iFAO), reaching the world's leading level.

iFAO is a new-generation intelligent train fully automatic operation system that aims to enhance the flexible configuration of resources such as vehicles and tracks, as well as the safe and efficient operation of the system. Based on technologies such as driverless operation, vehicle-to-vehicle communication, intelligent perception, virtual formation, and intelligent dispatching, it enables flexible train formation and autonomous operation.

● Flexible marshalling technology: The virtual marshalling train units exchange information in real time through wireless communication, enabling online marshalling, operation, and unmarshalling. It features high efficiency and flexibility and is suitable for scenarios where the passenger flow during peak and off-peak hours is uneven. A breakthrough has been achieved on Beijing Subway Line 11, and engineering verification has been carried out on Line 19.

● Engineering implementation of the intelligent train operation dispatching and command system: Aiming to improve the passenger service level, dispatching accuracy, and reliability, it intelligently manages trains and related systems based on various technologies, enhances the degree of automation and intelligence, and realizes the optimal allocation of resources. It has been applied on the operating line of Beijing Subway Line 19.

(4) Project performance
