In 2015, Chongqing Rail Transit Loop Line was approved formally as the national rail transit interconnectivity demonstration project. TCT and other three domestic signal system manufacturers completed the establishment of interconnectivity standard jointly as the signal system general contractor of Chongqing Rail Transit Loop Line and the technology leader of demonstration project, and successfully realized the engineering application of CBTC.
The fourth work meeting of expert group of interconnectivity demonstration project of Chongqing Rail Transit and the interconnectivity common line trial operation review meeting was held in 2018. The expert group thought that the interconnectivity project of Chongqing Rail Transit “make a great breakthrough in technology, form a Chinese-standard CBTC interconnectivity industry train and beneficial for realizing networking operation and resource sharing of urban rail transit in China”.
Meanwhile, the interconnectivity demonstration project of Chongqing Rail Transit also promoted the formation of interconnectivity standard of international urban rail transit signal system. IEEE has started the preparation of signal system interconnectivity standards since 2010 and it has not been released yet till now. Inno Trans Exhibition was held in Berlin, Germany in September 2018. Operation Management Special
Committee of China Association of Metros and the National Engineering Laboratory of Urban Rail Transit Train Communication and Operation Control jointly released the white paper of Guidance for Interconnectivity Construction of Rail Transit CBTC Signal System (Chinese and English versions) which is the first international industry technical specification of urban rail transit CBTC signal system interconnectivity.
Furthermore, the implementation of interconnectivity demonstration project of Chongqing Rail Transit breaks through the world-class problem of urban rain transit interconnectivity. TCT has realized the project application of I-CBTC as the leading party and made great contribution to the application of urban rail transit interconnectivity technology.
