Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, scientific and technological innovation has supported the leapfrog development of transportation. China's transport infrastructure technology ranks among the top in the world. A number of world-class projects, including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Beijing Daxing International Airport, have been completed and put into operation. Rapid development of smart highways, smart shipping, smart high-speed rail, smart civil aviation, smart warehousing and distribution; It has laid a good foundation for accelerating the construction of a transportation power driven by scientific and technological innovation. The meeting room specially planned "A Road to Far China's intelligent Transportation Development", which gives you a panoramic view of the intelligent development of the transportation field and tells the scientific and technological achievements of the transportation industry.
With the birth of autonomous driving, fault self-diagnosis, intelligent train scheduling and other technologies, the "brain and nervous system" of urban rail transit has also begun to carry artificial intelligence technology, providing a more refined operation plan for urban rail transit, so that rail transit operation is more safe and efficient. Recently, Gao Chunhai, chairman of TCT, was a guest of the China Media Group's China Traffic Broadcast "Communication Hall" to introduce us to the "Chinese brain" that escorts rail transit.
The development history of China's urban rail transit signal system
With the rapid development of urban rail transit led by metro in China, how to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all trains on the line? This requires a signal system known as the "brain and nerve" of rail transit to ensure. In the past 30 years, with the continuous increase of opened lines, the accumulation of construction experience, and the continuous progress of technology, the key technologies of China's urban rail transit signal system have successfully broken the foreign monopoly and achieved independent and controllable development.
Gao Chunhai said that the development process of China's urban rail transit signal system is completely dependent on people, and then invented automatic signals, when the red light passes the signal to the car through the rail, the car decoded and the brake system in the car is linked, so that the machine sends driving instructions, and now the signal system has developed to driverless. If you are divided according to the level of automation, level one only has one safety protection, if the driver falls asleep, the car can stop automatically, level two is called automatic driving, like the Beijing-Zhang high-speed rail, it is now in level two, start or completely judged by the driver, because the driver needs to see whether there is any special situation in the front line, its responsibility is still on the driver, but there will be a button. Similar to automatic cruise in a car, but people are the main thing. To the GOA3 level, no one needs to judge, but there must be a person sitting on the car, in case of special circumstances, the driver has to shoot an emergency button, to the GOA4 level, there is no one, the obstacles in front of the detection, all these environmental detection, all by the machine to achieve.
So why can't high-speed trains achieve the same level of automation as subways? Gao Chunhai said that automatic driving is affected by wind, frost, snow and rain is relatively large, the high-speed rail line is long, running from the north to the south, it may have passed three seasons, and it is difficult to achieve complete unmanned driving. However, the subway line is relatively short, and the environment does not change so much under such a short distance, so its degree of automation is relatively high. Today, the lowest subway in the country is the GOA2 level, which has automatic driving, the highest is the GOA4 level, and the highest high-speed rail in the world is the GOA2 level.
