    On August 3, The Second Research and Seminar on Shift2Rail Innovation Initiative with the theme of the development direction of TDCS was held in the multifunctional area of Traffic Control Technology Headquarters Building. The seminar was simultaneously broadcast live on the WeRail. The seminar was conducted in the form of research results sharing, interactive communication and evaluation guidance. It was presided over by Bao Feng, Dean of Traffic Control Technology Research Institute. Participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the development direction of TDCS.

    The speaker Sun Jun-guo shared the research results. The main content includes the overview of Shift2Rail scheduling management research, the demand analysis of Traffic Management Evolution and the architecture design of Traffic Management Evolution. The key points include: customer-centric dispatch command requirements; data integration and specification model; flexible and open unified platform. During the interactive communication session, participants discussed specific issues such as KPI indicators and passenger flow monitoring. Dean Luo Ming pointed out that the research of Shift2Rail innovation plan is also a reference for the framework and methods. In addition to learning specific technical routes and methodology, it is more important to think about how to migrate these cutting-edge technologies to our own system.
